Pass Creek, South Dakota. Grandma Lena used to ride her horse along this creek as a young girl.

Chief Smoke's War shirt on display at the Smithsonian Museum. Last I heard it hadn't been returned to the family. If it hasn't been returned already I hope it will be soon.

He is a consultant to The Buffalo Bill Museum in Cody Wyoming and The Smithsonian Museum in Washington D.C. He was raised mostly in the Standing Bear Family but he is the one who helped me when I first reached out to him about our Family. He welcomed me into his home and gave me our genealological documents as well as many pictures of our family. I am very grateful to him.
My Father Paul Craig, son of Lena Amiotte Craig. Here he is being gifted his Cannupa and bag shortly before his passing.
Sadly, there are no pictures of Grandma Lena. She was very reclusive, quiet and never really trusted any of the modern technology so I am not that surprised that there are no photos.
Soon I will be adding some information about my other ancestry. Mostly French, Scottish and Irish.
The picture is from my deck. Coffee before carving.
